SHILAJIT

Shilajit was traditionally sourced in India and Tibet, though it is now found in many other countries. Shilajit has been used in traditional Indian Ayurvedic medicine for centuries, and the compounds in it appear to be beneficial for many conditions. Shilajit is a boon for male fertility. The ayurvedic claims of improving sperm count and sperm motility were confirmed in a 2010 study (1) that tested Shilajit on 60 infertile men by prescribing them shilajit twice a day for 90 days. After the test period, almost half of the men who completed the treatment showed an increase in total sperm count and sperm motility,

Another study (2) looked at the ability of shilajit to increase testosterone levels in healthy volunteers. Men between 45 and 55 years old were given shilajit for 90 days. At the end of this period, researchers noted significant increases in the levels of total testosterone.

All the modern medical science and ancient ayurvedic texts point in the direction of proving shilajit and an excellent supplement for treating infertility in men.

SAFED MUSELI

The dried roots of Safed Musli (also known as asparagus) are used in Ayurveda as an aphrodisiac. Its tubers are used in several Ayurvedic medicine preparations aimed towards treating infertility. It contains about alkaloids, natural steroids, and polysaccharides.

White Musli or Safed Musli is primarily used as a tonic to rejuvenate the reproductive system. The regular use of this herb prevents impotency, premature ejaculation and low sperm count in men. As it is very rich in glycosides, it works very well in curing impotency and low sperm count.

A 2014 (3) study to study the bioefficacy of Safed Museli for impotency. The experiment showed that Co-administration of Safed Museli root extract enhanced male reproductive potentiality and prevented the negative deviations after the treatment with cyproterone acetate by means of increasing oxidative defense and maintaining homeostasis in the testicular apoptosis process.
